What does the Apprenticeship Levy mean for you?

June 13, 2016

By Sue Pittock, Chief Executive Officer of Remit Group:

“By now, you will be aware that from April 2017, businesses with an Apprenticeship programme and a payroll of more than £3m, will be charged a 0.5% levy on your wage bill to contribute to the cost of the apprenticeship training.

Preparing your business now to deal with the Levy charges will make it significantly easier for you to see a return on investment.

To help you understand the impact these funding changes will have on your business, the implications for your apprenticeship programme and how to maximise the opportunities for your future talent development, Remit Training has created a short video, which outlines the next steps for a business to help plan its approach.”
