An apprenticeship is work based training where you will be able to earn while you train for a nationally recognised qualification.

You will be based in your place of employment where you will be fully employed working full time (a minimum of 30 hours a week), and will earn a minimum of £3.40 per hour. You will also be entitled to all the same rights and benefits of other staff within the company you are working for such as holiday entitlement, pension and healthcare schemes.

There is no cost to you when undertaking an apprenticeship, but the employer may be required to contribute to the cost of training if you begin the apprenticeship after your 19th birthday.

Training will be normally through a day or block release programmes where you will attend a college or one of Remits training academies. Sometimes apprenticeships may be delivered solely in the workplace. You will also be supported by a Remit assessor who will visit the work placement periodically throughout your apprenticeship.

Apprenticeships are available at intermediate, advanced and higher (degree) level covering more than 1500 job roles. They take a minimum of 12 months to complete depending on what specialisms you choose. The current apprenticeships that Remit offer are:
