Remit IT Academy
During this 36 week programme, Apprentices will work to achieve a range of industry recognised certifications including the Microsoft Networking Fundamentals and MCITP : Enterprise Desktop Support Technician 7 and CompTIA A+ . These qualifications alone can cost in excess of £10,000. On top of that, our learners have the benefit of a full Apprenticeship which makes sure that they add value to your business as fast as possible.
This highly structured programme begins with an initial induction in the workplace. The apprentice then attends one of the Remit IT Academy Regional Training Centres to complete their initial training. This comprises of Health and Safety in ICT, training in the use of email, Word and Excel and the start of CompTIA A+ certification. It is an ideal introduction that ensures they are effective in the workplace as soon as possible.
The programme continues based on three weeks at work and three weeks in the Training Centre to the end of the programme. This ‘sandwich’ approach ensures that each apprentice is able to apply each set of new skills before moving on. There are regular reviews with the employing organisation as well as the apprentice to ensure that progress is being made in line with the expectations of the Academy and employer.
As well as the CompTIA and Microsoft qualification, apprentices will also complete a number of practical assignments that develop their skills in a range of areas from installing new software, diagnosing and repairing PCs and customer care skills.
