The Remit IT Academy has been set up to help businesses do just this – and more. Young people are able to achieve industry recognised qualifications from Microsoft and CompTIA whilst working towards an Advanced IT Apprenticeship. All the skills you need, at a cost you might not believe.
Taking on an Apprentice offers you the opportunity to employ a young person for as little as £120 per week. This compares very favourably with other options. Graduates – who will probably not have these qualifications – or other 1st Line/Helpdesk technicians are likely to cost up to £23k pa. The training itself is fully funded by the Government for young people between 16 and 18, and partially funded for many over 18 years of age.
Once you’ve made the decision to employ an Apprentice we work with you to find the right candidate. From all those that apply, we will create a shortlist of those that we believe might be a good fit your organisation, and have the potential to be successful. You will then have the opportunity to conduct the final interview with the shortlisted candidates to find the right fit for your team. With the right person on board, we will enroll them onto the Advanced IT Apprenticeship programme.
