Technical Training Programmes
As vehicle technology continues to advance automotive repairers may find it increasingly difficult to diagnose complex faults, the reliance on technical instruction and training support is ever increasing.
Remit provide automotive technicians with a technical training programme specifically designed to support independent repairers, through a suite of modules to accommodate the varied type of diagnosis and repair activities.
Course delegates can expect to receive elements of theoretical delivery, however a larger proportion of the modules have been structured around practical tasks and learning activities that can be transferred directly to customers vehicles when they return to their garages.
A garage owner or manager can expect improvements in their technician’s diagnostic capabilities leading to; increased first time fix rates, improvements in workshop efficiencies creating a quicker vehicle repair turnaround and ultimately raising customer satisfaction.
There are 6 modules available with more in development, all of which are delivered at our Technical Training Centre in Leicestershire, with a future option (subject to demand) of regional delivery: To achieve accreditation, technicians must pass a series of practical assessments and an on-line knowledge test. To ensure that they keep up-to-date with new technologies, technicians are re-assessed every 5 years to maintain their accreditation.
