Purpose of Role

The Automotive Academy Manager is responsible for leading Tutors and Admin staff to develop and deliver the OTJ element of world class Apprenticeship programmes within the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilitys

•Minimum Success rates of 77%
•Academy Occupancy at 90% or above
•Teaching & learning at grade 1
•Employer & learner satisfaction rates
•Welfare and safeguarding of learners during block release
•Delivers an industry leading‘best in class’ academy facility
•To agree budgetary targets and expenditure each year and to review on a monthly basis.
•To submit proposal business case for any deviation/additional expenditure/opportunities as required.
Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge:
Management grade 5 (desirable)
Teaching qualification
•Programme/Academy management within the automotive sector.
•Relevant technical and teaching experience within the automotive sector
•Track record of delivery & proven leadership experience
