Purpose of role

The role of the eLearning Designer Coach is to support the development of our employees.

To support the delivery of learning & development within the organisation via a blended learning approach and ensure continuous e-learning platform and content development specific to allocated sector and departments.

 Main Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

· Develop, deliver and evaluate innovative L&D

· L&D ambassador aligned to specific business units

· Deliver and co-ordinate corporate induction sessions

· Deliver quality training both classroom and webinar based on a variety of topics to both internal & external stakeholders

· Monitor quality of e-content and training materials/resources

· Develop and create learning plans and SOW’s

· Produce clear, concise MI on a regular basis

· Conducting evaluation Surveys

eLearning Designer Function:

·To deliver an effective, professional engaging eLearning service to the organisation

·Design and deliver core in house courses to all levels of the business

·Design and deliver core in house and external video content to all levels of the business

·Ensure consistency of materials and resources

·To develop good working stakeholder relationships

·Delivery of all electronic system training & support

Person Specification:

Qualifications: Desirable

Functional Skills ICT and English – Level 2 or equivalent

TAQA or equivalent

PTTLS or equivalent

Experience: Essential

Training Provider background & sector experience

Experience of the full training cycle including TNA, design, delivery, assessment & evaluation use of Adobe packages including- Photoshop, Premier Pro

Use of storyboarding for video creation and e-learning courses

Development & Delivery of eLearning/Training

Experience in embedding learning

Training Provider background & sector experience

Knowledge: Essential

Adobe packages

Video creation

E-learning course building software & commercial awareness

SMART Targets

Development of SOW’s

Knowledge: Desirable

Robust understanding of eLearning process and practise

Understanding of Government funded training

Understanding of apprenticeship programmes, curriculum based learning & delivery of sector specific training

Competencies: Essential

Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude at all times

Strong IT skills & highly proficient with Microsoft packages

Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills
